Your Child’s First Visit to the Dentist

Here at South Fremantle Family Dental, we recommend that your child’s first oral health visit takes place at 12 months of age, or shortly after eruption of the first baby teeth.

• Try to make an appointment for a time when your child is likely to be well rested.
  
• Try to be positive about the experience.
• Don’t make your child anxious about their appointment. DON’T use words like: “hurt, needle, or drill”.
