Low Dose Digital X-Rays (Digital intra oral radiography)
Our dental surgery is equipped with low dose digital x-rays. The x-ray image will be on the computer screen within seconds of taking it. This saves time and also dramatically reduces the amount of radiation you are exposed to compared with a manual film. It is also possible to enlarge and enhance the digital x-ray images on the computer screen, making it easier to point out and explain specific areas to give you. Most dentists recommend having bite wings (small x-rays of your back teeth) taken at least every two years. This is to prevent any unseen decay between teeth and decay under fillings being left untreated.
